Technical Key Account Manager Anchoring Solutions_ENG.
The role
Within the Construction Site Project Management (CSPM) team, a second technical specialisation is being established alongside HVAC, focusing on anchoring solutions. You will be responsible for further developing the expertise in mechanical and chemical anchoring. In addition to supporting CSPM, you will also work with other departments requiring anchoring solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the international engineering team and supporting Account Managers with customers' technical questions for major construction companies, both nationally and internationally.
- Translating technical opportunities into concrete projects and commercial opportunities.
- Visiting engineering consultants, contractors, technical departments and steel construction companies.
- Providing technical advice to customers, both in the office and on construction sites, regarding anchoring solutions, including pull-out tests where required.
- Analysing technical drawings, specifications and tender documents.
- Carrying out technical calculations and feasibility studies.
- Becoming the in-house expert in Würth's engineering software.
- Registering projects and specifications in the internal databases.
- Building and maintaining a professional network within the construction and building services sectors.
- Operating throughout Belux as part of a team of 17 colleagues, reporting to the Head of Construction Project Management.
Your profile
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Civil Engineering), Industrial Engineering in Construction, with or without a PhD, or an equivalent technical background.
- Open to both recent graduates and experienced professionals.
- Experience in the construction sector or with anchoring techniques is an advantage.
- Interest in construction applications and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Analytical, solution-oriented and proactive mindset.
- Strong combination of technical expertise, customer focus and excellent communication skills.
- Able to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach.
- Good command of Dutch, French and English, or the willingness to further develop your language skills.
