Function

As a project manager you are responsible “from A to Z” for managing, organizing and executing a wide spectrum of national projects in accordance with stow methodology.
You are the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for the projects assigned to you and towards the client, the sub-contractors and the stow staff in respect of all project related matters.

As a Project Manager you are the STOW Ambassador towards all stakeholders.

Your tasks are:

  • Work preparation & project follow-up:
    • Getting familiar with all the available project documentation and assessing the operational, technical and financial feasibility and anticipate if applicable.
    • Responsible for visiting the site, setting up a detailed project planning and checking all the requirements for mobilization in and out of equipment and human resources.
    • Attend kick-off meetings, technical/site meetings, commercial meetings and planning meetings as well as site inspections with the client or with internal stow departments if needed.
    • Responsible for having a project-specific safety plan, if required supported by other departments.
  • Supervision operational activities:
    • Monitoring the progress and quality of the project, identifying deviations and correcting (or initiate corrections) where necessary.
    • Managing operational staff and subcontractors with regard to the project execution. Supervises the safe execution of the project on site and observes the QSHE regulations and administration.
    • Responsible for the necessary specific project related certificates, documents and trainings for the human resources.

  • Financial follow-up, administration & contract management
    • Responsible for contract administration requirements and deliverables.
    • Claim management – identifying and drafting contract variations and/or delay notifications with substantiation of costs based on the existing agreements.
    • Responsible for budget follow-up and daily cost management.
    • Responsible for initiating purchase orders, checking and approving all incoming project related invoices.
    • Managing and keeping the project information up to date in the applicable ERP systems.

Your profile

  • You have a master's degree in industrial sciences, option electromechanics, construction or mechanical engineering.
  • You can demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in a preferably construction-related sector.
  • The 3PM principles are ingrained in you: quality, cost and planning.
  • Motivation and enthusiasm is one of your most important soft skills.
  • You are a problem solver with a hands-on mentality.
  • You work in an international environment, therefore a good knowledge of English is a must, French is an asset and Dutch is welcome.

In order to be able to grow further, the company is looking for a Project Manager who realizes racking projects in France, Germany and the Benelux as a passionate STOW Ambassador.
